How to fix broken laptop screen?

What cause a broken laptop screen?
If a laptop screen is physically broken such as a cracked screen, it is usually due to physical damage.

something as small as a bit of sand or soil between it and the keyboard.

could stop. if it may stops working again in the future, you should need to replace the broken laptop
screen.

If the screen is physically cracked and the underlying panel is injure, note these fixes wont work.
to fix a physically damaged or broken screen, the only choice is to replace the broken screen.
1) Restart your system
If the screen is not appearing to work it may be effected by an operating system problem, or some
other conflict will be cleared by simply restarting the System. Since restarting is simple, it should be
the first step you need to try.
2) Close the laptop and reopen it
Inspect your screen and keyboard areas for any debris, and clean it them thoroughly. if the laptop
uses a visible latch, clean properly the latch mechanism. carefully close the laptop and make sure
it is completely closed, and open it back. if the screen sometimes doesn't and sometimes turns on
it means you might have a bad lid sensor.
3) Plug in an external monitor
If the laptop screen is entirely black, try to use external monitor. if it doesn't work, laptop may not be
on, or it might be asleep or in hibernation mode. plug it in, and ensure it is on.
4) Try to fix your burn-in
If it looks more like images stuck on your screen, then you could try a white screen saver
or few alternative potential fixes to detach the burn-in.
5) Update your video drivers
If the screen is not completely black, but can see visual defects on the laptop screen, try
to update video drivers. it may have a malfunctioning or glitch driver.
6) Check screen and backlight connections
If you have experience with disassembling laptops parts, you can remove the bezel around the screen,
hinge covers, or other case parts to reveal the screen and backlight wires and connectors of laptop
screen. ensure everything is fully fixed and the cables are not crimped or broken.
7)Try to unstick stuck pixels
If the screen contains one or more stuck pixels, you can use app to try and unstuck them. these apps
generate digital snow to force a dead pixel to start working properly again.
8)Replace the laptop screen
If these above tips not works, then your laptop screen probably has to be replaced. screens with large
black or coloured bars, black holes, or colour that seems to run are typically beyond repair. if it is a
cracked screen, that is also a hint you will have to replace it with new one.
